Very pleased from bid process and choosing shingles through to end of day. Informative — they helped me know what questions to consider early on, and answered questions I didn’t even yet know I had during end of day walk-around. Nice details at soffits for good finished look and rainwater diversion. Pleasant crew:-) Thorough cleanup made simpler by protective tarps and portable lifted dumpster. Would recommend in a blink.
I reached out to Vanguard for a free inspection after a noticed a few raised shingles on my roof. Right from they start they were responsive and very helpful, responding to my initial online request within an hour and scheduling the inspection within a few days. The inspection was thorough and clearly explained why a full roof replacement was needed and included a quote. I reached out to a couple other local companies and only received a response from one other. Their inspection was equally as thorough and showed the same issues identified by Vanguard but their quote was thousands more. After I contacted Vanguard to proceed with the repairs/replacement, they were able to schedule the work within just a couple weeks. During the work itself, they discovered that the majority of my roof did not have decking and the prior shingles were nailed it wooden slats with wide gaps between. Pictures were provided, so I could clearly see the need for new decking. They were able to redeck the majority of they house for a reasonable price and were still able to finish the majority of the work in one day. They showed up bright and early the next day and had it all completed by 10a.m. They did a great job keeping the yard clean during the project and I have found no debris or nails left after they finished. They were thorough not only with the shingles but also ensure that all the facia and flashing were installed properly and aesthetically pleasing. They even painted my ugly exhaust pipes on the roof. Guadalupe is very friendly and was willing to respond to any questions and address any concerns. I cannot recommend Vanguard enough.
I was so impressed with Guadalupe at our first meeting to go over my siding project. She is extremely knowledgeable, explained everything she would do and explained why so I could understand and really wanted me to be happy with the results. Carlos and Guadalupe Dominguez were a pleasure to work with on our roofing and gutter project. Guadalupe was very thorough and helpful as we were planning our project. Any questions we had before, during, or after the project were quickly and cheerfully answered. The work was professional and well done. The care shown during the work was phenomenal. Great care was taken to protect our flowerbeds and property. Pictures were taken during the roofing project that showed all the processes we talked about in planning were completed. I would rehire them for any other roofing project in a heartbeat.
